You may prepare yourself for it.Because its very hard.some babies are colic and you might have sleepless nights and if you have exams the next day it does be hard, and while you are preggers sitting in them chairs all day does kill your back.But if you want something hard enough you will do it.It can be done.I wish you the best of luck!

One of the girls in my architecture course had her 2 kids while doing her uni degree.  She planned them so that she had her kids in the long Christmas break.  I actually think that doing your degree when the kids are infants is much easier than when they're older.  But only you know what's best for you.

Sadly, when I got pregnant with my first, I had to give up the course that I was doing.  I got terrible morning sickness, and was in and out of hospital with it for a few months.

Now that I have 5 little ones, I want to get back into study myself, but I am going to wait until they are either all in daycare or school.  The things I give up for my family! lol.

Is it possible for you to have your course transfered across to a distance education program?  They are targeted at stay at home parents etc and are really good and supportive.  My partner is studying via distance education so that he can be home more to help me with our enormous brood.

What ever you decided to do, I hope you enjoy it.  Ultimately, you have to do what you are comfortable with, but remember, having a baby is a big thing and will totally turn your world inside out, and that is before they are born! lol.  Go for it, and I hope you achieve the goals you clearly have in mind.

a friend carried up to 8 months when she was at uni left just before hitting 9 but asked her lecturers if it was possible to either a) continuing via corrispondance or b) came back after the bubs born and finish her course

they all said she can come back when she feels ready to complete her course and could work it round her partners work hours so there was someone hom for bub.  they even said she could do it via corrispondence if she wanted to keep up.  so just ask them, theres no harm in asking what might be best for you.

         I continued on with my studies while I was pregnant and also worked my way through. Not going to lie to you, it was a struggle at times but I managed it. After having my daughter I managed to complete my honours degree as well. If you want to go for it then go for it. The only person holding you back is yourself.

I was doing a accounting certificate at tafe when I fell pregnant and I could continue cause of the morning sickness. but a lot of ppl have done it and done it well.
