We go through almost 2 litres a day, My son does not drink as much, but always has his cereal in the morning and maybe a glass of milk during the day. My husband drinks about a pot of coffee, and I drink about 3 to four glasses a day...
It seems that when I am pregnant I crave the stuff....
We are a family of 4, our children are 3 and 20 months, neither of them have bottles, just a cup of milk or so a day (sometimes more than once if they ask for it) and we go through roughly 6 to 8 litres a week.
In our house we go through 2 litres a day with the 4 older boys. Thats with there cereal, Milos are all the Milo my other half drinks. It will be 4 litres a day once the baby is old enough to drink it.
Hi Angie... I really don't think you can go through too much milk, (unless you are having adverse reactions to it). There are so many nutrients packed into each drink, and it's filling in lieu of a snack, and is a great meal in a drink.
We use about 2 litres a day, as Jaydee loves his milk, I never say no when he wants it. I love fruit smoothies, and Stephen loves to have his sustagen and smoothies too.
theres myself, my partner, my dad and my gran and we all have breakfast. a cup of tea or coffe, then another cup at , morning tea, then arvo tea so we use about 2 lts a day
Our milk consumption is all over the place so sometimes a 2 litre bottle will go off before we even use it or sometimes I buy one every couple of days. That depends if the boys are in cereal mood or not so that is frustrating plus sometimes they are going to be around sometimes not. I hate it when I buy a bottle then they go off for the weekend or ring me and ask to stay over someones for the weekend so I'm starting to buy the long life that live in the cupboard and fresh milk occasionally.
Hey Lynette, smart thinking on your part, we stock up on the longlife when it is on special, as sometimes it is as little as $1 per litre. We get about $10 worth each time, it makes a lot of sense, and saves a few cents ; )
We go through somewhere between 6-8 liters of soy milk for the twins, and another 6-8 liters of cow's milk for hubby and I and my 3 year old... that's somewhere between 12-16 liters total a week! Phew!
we go through 2 lt a day. Anthony has milo in the morning uses around 150ml in that, sometimes more than one a day too. I have several cups of tea thru the day, shayne 2 cups of coffee and drinks plain milk to, Anthoony also has it on his porridge, and 300ml of a night, plus cooking ( i bake alot of stuff) some times we use more if I am in a smoothie mood.
So that is 14lt a week, wow thats alot when you think about it, lol.
We need a dairy farm! We all have a lot of milk each day. We go thru 2/3 litres per day. When the twins are older, it'll be more! K still has 3 bottles most days of 200mls. Nothing to worry about at your house Angie!
we can go through anywhere form 9-12L of milk a week. My hubby will have 2 cold milos a day and then a few warm ones if it is cold and my son will drink 3L a day If you let him. we limit it to 3 glasses +cereal and my daughter will has 1-2 a day and I all up will drink about 1.5 a day in cuppa's
Well I think we offically need a cow. Mia drinks 300mls a day shes 14 months old. So she has around 4 or 5 bottles a day. Then cereals aswell. Ella has like coco pops then she will have rice bubbles and hour later lol. Yeah i think around 8 litres or more a week. LOL
