Re: Please I need advice

I would suggest going to the emergency section at your local hospital claiming your concern its something more serious cause you went to your doctor and antibiotics didn't work.  It may not be something serious of course, but they have other doctors there (and lets face it, you need a qualified second opinion) and have all the equipment to do appropriate testing if necessary.  I know it'd be a long wait to see anybody, but if the worst should happen and it is something more serious, at least you're in the right place.  And if not, they'll likely be able to help you.

Best of luck.  Hope things improve for you.

Ouchy!  Your doctor put you on antibiotics?  What an idiot!  The first thing he should have done was order blood tests and an ultrasound.

Swollen lymph nodes in any part of the body that are swollen for more than a couple of weeks at a time are a sign of an immune system imbalance or an over active immune system (I have this problem).

Hun, there isn't much I can suggest that you do other than find a doctor who does speak english and who is going to look after you.  I would also be finding out why on earth this doctor you have now is practicing medicine in Australia when he clearly has no idea what he is doing.

As everyone else had stated your best bet is to go to the nearest hospital to get it checked out. Best of luck.

Re: Please I need advice

It could be something as simple as an ingrown hair.. I had a bad one and my lymph node in my groin near the area went beserk! It may be that the antibiotics you have been given were not the ones you need! I agree if it is that painful and you are getting no joy from the doc, go to the hospital ED...PS the best time for this is monday p.m......less traffic and quicker attention! If there is no obvious sign of infection close by, the swelling does need to be investigated!( the site of infection can be as far down as your foot!)

Cheers, hope it is better soon

If it is so sore, I think i would be getting myself to the  nearest hospital to have it checked out by a doctor who can speak english and explain things to  you.

I wish you all the best

Maybe try the emergency section in the local hospital?? Could be a very long wait though! Have you had x rays done of this? Maybe do some research on the net to see what you can find....... Maybe it is an allergic reaction to something.
