Try  giving him The Original Limu wellness beverage, it is a whole food , sea veg. and the Tongans have used it for thousands of years for medicinal and poltutist packs. great for all  immune probems. This is a natural sea veg.L et me know if I can help out, I have enrolled alot of people . It also has been good for a family with autisum, diabees, lupus, and more. Get in touch with me and I can tell you more

Re: natural remidies for boils??

There are lots of things that can cause boils. I get them alot in high friction areas, under arms , groin area, and under breasts where any skin touches or rubs. Another thing that can bring them on is if your child is anemic. Anyone who is anemic runs a greater risk of getting boils , just like with diabetes. If you want to bring it to a head there are a couple things that work for me. Lavendar oil rubbed on the boil seems to bring it to a head over night , I just cant stand the smell of it. a moist heat will also bring it to a head rather quickly. Take a wash cloth wet with the hottest water your child can handle and hold it on until it goes cold , repeat it up to 3 times per day. You have to be pretty careful with boils and try to get them to come to a head as quick as possible. I have developed yeast infections under my skin because of boils that have taken too long to come out. It is very painful and I feel for your son completely, Good luck with this.

Re: natural remidies for boils??

i agree that whenever ive had boils and from what ive always been led to beleive its to do with a deficiency or from being run down?

when i ahve them i treat them with tea tree oil as its a natural antiseptic and can help with acne and such, they go away pretty quick as it dries it out and kills all the bacteria.

good luck

Re: natural remidies for boils??

hi, when we lived in the rainforest we got them every now and then,  and I was always led to believe they were partly to do with a low immune system, and lack of fresh green vegies... Dad got us into eating 2 cloves of raw garlic with our dinner EVERY night, and he also put garlic on the boils, which really stung, so I don't recommend that! but raw garlic is really good for you. once it's cooked it loses most of the goodness. i still eat raw garlic, but my partner takes garlic tabs, which are an easier thing for people who aren't into the raw stuff! also, there is a black ointment you can get from the chemist which draws the boil to a head, it's a less painful way of getting rid of the pus.... it's called Ichthammol ointment... they are contagious as well, so you are doing great with washing every day! hope this helps....

cheers!

Re: natural remidies for boils??

Has anyone suggested trying a moist wound dressing to help it out?  Sounds strange, but it could actually work.  I am  a nursing mother, and to protect my nipples from getting sore, I use a lanolin product..  This provides a protective barrier, moisturises and helps to prevent infection as well.  Obviously, you would have to allow some time without anything on the boils in order to allow them to start to dry, but using the lanolin might help to protect it better at night and prevent the bacteria being spread further as well.

Another thing that would be really good for them, is being out in the sun.  That is, the morning sun, before midday, with no sunscreen on.  Partial shade is ok and wearing a hat still a must.  The sun is a natural bacteria killer and helps the skin to heal quicker too.
