If they are Braxton Hicks, they will go away. Drink tons of water and lay down on  your left side. If BH they will stop. If true labor no matter what you do they will not go away and will only increase.

In regards to discharge, it could be that you are starting lose your mucus plug. Some women can lose that weeks before they have their babies, some will lose it just a day or two before.

I personally think it can never hurt to call your doctor. Remember  he/she is there for you. It is always better to be safe :)

braxton hicks don't usually hurt.  They feel more like a tightening in your stomach.  Pains like you describe are normal as long as they are not constant, getting more frequent, and or you are having blood or other discharge with them.  Call your doctor if you are concerned.

From 30 weeks i had alot of discharge which lasted till i gave birth. I had urine tests done to rule out infection and tehre wasnt any, you just have an increased dischrge and its normal. I was in bad pain for the last 5weeks of my pregnancy, i was 1cm dialted for 3days and had contarctions 2mins apart for 3days. When i finally went to teh hospital ithey kept me in cos i was 4cms ( the other times they sent me home cos 1cm isnt good wnuff no matter how much pain ur in so they say) When i finally went in i had him 7hrs later.

Do get checked by ur doctor, although they cant tell u when you will have bubs they can tell how low he is ect. I wud say they are braxton hicks and tome they felt like period pain, sometimes i cudnt breathe, theyc an get bad and very confusing.

are these pains regular or hear and there.if they're regular (as in every eg. 5 minutes) see adoctor if hear and there it's braxton and may feelike a strong period pain. and the pain well that's a tiny LITTLE taste of what's to come i'm afraid.disharge is normal too.
