can nonmembers read member blogs

Hello,

I was wondering if non-members, like grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc.  can read my blog without signing on as a minti member?  Most don't have children or have grown children and I don't think they would be very interested in joining.  I've looked around for the answer to this question, and maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I can't find it.  Thanks for all the help.

Hi there,

Yes, non-members can read your blogs, without signing up :)

However, if you post some photos in your blog, then you would need to list them as "public", for them to see those...
Of course, if you only want the photos to be private, then you would need them to sign up, to see the photos in the blog :)

Hope I made sense :) hehe

FYI - there is also a 3rd option - that is 'restricted' photos. Restricted photos are viewable by the public both Minti members and none members but the photos do not show up on the "photos" section on the green bar at the top of the page. People cannot rate them or comment on photos that are restricted.

oopssy. I think people can still comment on restricted photos, they are just not on the 'photos' list on the green bar up top to be rated on. I will test to see which is the case when I have time and let you know.
