Pain after a C-section and tied tubes

Is there anyone out there who has had a C-section and their tubes tied @ the same time and have abdominal pain now and then. After having 4 normal deliveries the 5th one had to be done by C-section and I agreed to have my tubes tied. But I get abdominal pain every now and then and period cramps are worse then before. Anyone know anything or similar experience?

Hey how are you?

Well, I wanted to ask you the same thing. A year ago after I had my baby and a c-section and got my tubes tied bilateral...I have been having abdomen pain along with tingling and pinching all over body..also, strong headaches and a little blurred vision to see far away. I never had this problem before with my other kids that I had natural. But, this last one was breech adnd had to get a c-section. But, I have been feeling weird?

Re: Pain after a C-section and tied tubes

Hi there i had a c-section with my 10th child and had my tubes done at the same time(2nd time round) having tubes done i had them done after no 4 but decided to get them reversed lol lol

I often do get pains down low or even on just one side during my cycle. Try using a heat pack if they get too bad or go and see you local dr just to get it checked as it may only be scarring from the surgery but better to be safe than sorry i say. I usually getheavier periods than noprmal toonow i am not sure if you have found this as well but sometimes the pain may just be when you are in the middle of a normal cycle. The pains at times i get are just like contractions they hurt i have to lie down on my bed with my knees up almost to my chin to ease the pain. But as i said if the pain continues and nothing you try relieves it then go see the dr and check with him/her to see if there may be something else causing the pain.

Hope this helps a bit

Hugs Michelle

Same periods are worse but the pain may just be adhesions from surgery and you can't do much bout that sorry

although i didn't have my tubes tied,i still experienced the same symptoms as your bodydidn't get to do the natural thing as after a natural birth it's just taking it' time now to return to normal i believe it took me afull year after my ceasar to feel normal again.make sure you haven't got a bladder or wound infection as that can cause Alot of pain,go back to doc if concerned.good

Re: Pain after a C-section and tied tubes

hi

i had exactly the same ting done on my 4th c-section i still 2years later still get pain depending on what time of the months dipicts how bad the pain is sometimes its niggling pain other times it is so bad i can barely move.

the dr has said that when tubes gets tied while in surgery (c-section) can lead unexplained pain but if it gets to bad i would see a dr yours may be different to what i expirence.
