Re: bleeding

That its painful to pass your poo is a clue its likely to be hemmaroids ('scuse me; I can't spell). Very common amongst pregnant & have-been-pregnant gals. Go see the Doc to make sure, but most likely you'll end up getting an anti-hemmarroid cream from the chemist. Supposedly its good to get rid of bags under the eyes as well. I got hemmarroids when I was pregnant & they recurred for a few years after. Its been awhile since they've bothered me now.

Re: bleeding

The colour of the blood is very important. If it is bright red then it is an indication of a tear in the rectum - probably from haemorroids. But if the blood is a a very dark colour it indicates it is from deeper in the digestive system and can be a symptom of bowel cancer. Talk to your doc about it.

Re: bleeding

Also another good thing to look at is if it is actually through the poo or just a bit on the outside. If it's mixed in the poo, its from deeper within the digestion track if its just on the outside it's most likely from hemmoriods(sp).

Speak to your doc

Re: bleeding

Hey,

It is possible that you have hemorrhoids. Even if you cant feel them on the outside you could have them internally. Wipe with baby wipes & see if that helps & see your doctor even though its embarrassing, you need to find out whats causing it.
