Re: 6 weeks pregnant and full of milk?
With my first baby, I started leaking colostrum from about 4 weeks into my pregnancy. I also had terrible morning sickness and was told that because of the high levels of hormones my body was producing to keep the baby (had previously had 4 miscarriages), it was normal that my body would go into hyper drive and produce colostrum from an early stage.
Pregnancy is different for every woman, and every pregnancy is different. Your body is doing what it should, so there is no need for concern.
Your actual milk won't come in until after bubs is born and you start breastfeeding. The sucking motion of bubs is what causes it to change from colostrum to milk. This will happen at around 3 days after bubs is born. If you choose not to breastfeed, or can't, then it won't happen, though you still may leak the colostrum for a while.
Basically, what you are experiencing is normal and showing that your body is doing what it is supposed to. Enjoy your pregnancy, because once bubs is born, the real work begins.
