I think it is normal because your body is getting back to it's regular state! It will take awhile after pregnancy for things to get back to normal!

I'm a little concerned that you say your bleed stopped for 2 weeks then started again.  I remember having extra heavy bleeding after my second child due to an infection.  It'd be worth just talking to your doctor about it.  If it's normal, they can reassure you.  And if there's something that might need treatment, the sooner you get it, the better.

yes this is normal and it's likely  to go on for a little while longer till your body rids it's post natal blood.take some iron suppliments but if it goes on and on you should go back to the quack.

That's what happened to me with my first baby.  It's very normal and can go on for up to your 8th week post-partum.  It's cause your uterus is shrinking back down and your hormornes are all out of whack.  It should stop within a week or two.  If not, let your doc know that you are concerned about it.  But it can take as long as 10 weeks for all bleeding related to pregnancy to stop.  Hang in there sweetie!
