I think it is a personal choice..My friend periced her daughter's ears at 3 months old.

Perosnally, I am going to wait to see if my daughter wants hers ears pierced and let her make the decision at an older age when she can take care of them herself..

Personally I would not be putting any holes in my daughter's body on her behalf... when she is old enough then she can make the decision herself.  

I was 12 when I got mine done, I don't recall it hurting that much. 

How old is she? I got my girls done when they were 4 and 5.  If you do decide to get them done make sure the place you go to will do both ears at the same time!!! My eldest got her first ear done and it took 3 hours of crying to get her back to do the second, it was horrible.  With my second they did both at the same time, they started counting to 3 but did it at 2 so she wasn't really expecting it, she cried a bit afterwards but was then fine. 

hi.. i too couldnt decide but i ended up doind it when she turned 1.. no probs so far and they numbed the ear before the do it..

like the others have said its personal choice.   wait till her ears are big enuff to take piercings.  normally bout 18 mth -  2 yrs.  then she might want them or not. the choice is up to u both.

 I  feel if you want to have Hannah's ear pierced, I would suggest having them done now, earlier the better.

Jess was 3 and jayde was 5 and jayde hated them and took them out and they closed up, jess loves them to bits.. so it really depends on the child.

My girl got them done at 2 and half years old. I asked her, she said yes, they do them both at the same time tears for a minute, then it was over, and she loves them, sha is always looking at them and showing people. Its personal preferance, and totally yours and your girls choice. hubby wanted me to wait, and i got in a little trouble lol, but he got over it when he saw her, bt be prepared that it makes them look a little more grown up.I definately think younger is better, as they forgoet pain easier, IMHO 

Only you can make the choice. I personally am not getting Lexi's done until she is old enough to decide whether she wants them or not. Brad was 7 when he got his done but it is completely up to you.
