My doctor had the pharmacist mix up an evil-smelling batch of clear liquidy lotion to apply. I confess I didn't keep it up for long! I know one is not supposed to put anything scented on the affected areas.. Good luck!

I was just diagnosed with this and the doctor gave me Rosex cream. It cost $30 though and isn't under pharmaceutical benefits. There is also antibiotics. The thing that triggers it is all the good stuff too like spicy foods and alcohol. My doc said no more to me. It is very stubborn too. Could need to see a skin specialist if it is persistant. Good luck. Any natural remedies I would love to hear too.
