Re: help on weight issues
So much changes when we have cherubs our bodies change to fit them inside us and then change more to get them out (even if by c section - the body still changes) Our emotions are put on a roller coaster with hormones racing every which way...
I also feel like a different person....But now that the sun is starting to come out again I want to make changes too...I am getting the Windsor pilates set that I have seen on late night tv. Been Saving..I think that pilates or yoga are great for the mind and the body. I also thought that to get me motivated I am going to put it on in the mornings and do the exercises with my daughters for now but also with my son when he gets bigger. This way we all get exercise and we keep each other motivated...
I used to do alot of exercise which helped with my depresssion in the past, I think it is time to do it again...And by including my children I am still doing something for me but with them...Maybe you can make a reward chart for you that your daughter gets to give you a sticker for everytime you do a workout????
I can not suggest much about the pain around the scar except for massage with BIO oil (you can get this from the supermarket or the chemist) it is for stretch marks scars etc...If you massage the scar it should help to break up any scar tissue that is developing or developed.
If the depression is getting out of your control (it sounds like it is somewhat from what you have written) then please see your GP and just stay in contact with them, they may have some other suggestions which may include medication or some counselling.
I hope this has been of some help..

Re: help on weight issues
The only advice I can think of to give is to up your exercise! the more you exercise the more you burn. Building muscle through lifting weights, like in weights aerobics etc will make you stronger, and build muscle, which will replace the fat and make you lean, the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns to maintain the muscle, you will also burn fat even while you are sleeping, to fead your muscles. Make sure you are drinking lot's of water and eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg. Roast beef n salad platter's, lots of carrots, celery, avocado, bit of cheese, just anything fresh. Sit ups are about the only way you are going to tone that area back up, there's Lot's of different abdominal exercises you can do. I would first work on your fitness, with brisk walking, cross trainer, bike riding. Start taking your little one for walks all through town, to pick up thing's. Walk an hour to your friends house for cuppa then back again. There's million's of ways you can loose weight, you just need to get up and move as much as you can, it's the only way to get back to your old self. I have 6 children and I am the same as I was before I had my children, but not through luck or genes, through keeping fit and active, working hard after each pregnancy to loose the baby weight, then eating well and exercising to maintain, as anyone would, no matter if you've had baby or not. I hope this helps
