Ptosis - Eye Condition

Does anyone else have to deal with a young baby who has Ptosis? Jasmine is fourteen months old now and I have to take her to Westmead in early November for her second checkup. At the first checkup, they assured me that there was no problem with her vision. If it's simply a lazy eye, how necessary is it to operate other than for cosmetic reasons?

Re: Ptosis - Eye Condition

i never heard of ptosis  but i do know that a lazy eye condition can be cured with excersise,

i have also hear of coveriing the good eye and allowing the lazy one to become stronger and correct itself.

Dont get me wrong take the advice of your specialist then get a second opinion and even a third, they call them medical practices ?  and half of the drs finishe in the bottom half of thier class

It is well worth doing your own research into current practices  from refutable authorities.

Good luck
