yep! you can be pregnant & still get your period. i always thought when i heard women claim this it meant they were in denial but recently my neice, who is normally thin, started showing a baby bump. took a hpt & it came back positive. never suspected because she had her cycle every month. doctor confirmed she was 26 weeks pregnant!  take hpt or see your doc soon if you feel your body trying to tell you something.

Yes of course you can be pregnant and still get your period. It's more common than most people realise. I suggest that you go to the doctor as quickly as possible to be tested. If you are pregnant the doctor can help allay any fears you may have with regard to periods during pregnancy. A close friend of mine had her periods until the 8th month of her pregnancy and gave birth to a healthy baby boy... Hope this helps!!

 Pregnancy tests are relatively inexpensive, and the peace of mind they buy is enormous.  

Go buy a box--here in the US they come typically in packs of two.  Follow the directions and make sure you do it in the morning before you go to the bathroom, so your urine is concentrated from overnight.  If you're still unsure after the home test, find a planned parenthood or a walk-in clinic and get tested.

Yes you can still be pregnant even if you've had your period although it can also be highly unlikely. The only reason I know it can happen is that one of my friends (who is now a mum) had no idea she was pregnant until she reached 7 months. She kept getting her period same as usual and when she applied for a job with a daycare centre she had to have blood tests done, etc. to prove that she didn't have anything to pass onto the little kiddies and the tests showed up that she was pregnant. It came as a bit of a shock to her considering she was already 7 months along and now had no choice but to go through with the pregnancy. To be on the safe side I would take a pregnancy test or book an appointment with your Doctor who can quickly and easily tell you what is going on. Good luck in whichever way you want it to go!
