Re: Maternity clothes

Pumpkin patch sell some pretty nice maternity clothes. You could also just buy a couple of things in a bigger size, summer is coming up so just a bigger size top and chuck some 3/4 leggins underneath are great, thats what i did. I never wasted the money on maternity clothes i just worse my own things. Also you could get one of those stretch belts that go inside your jeans so you can wear your same stuff. Ebay also has some great maternity clothes. I just use to wear leggins and babydoll tops which are the tops that are tighta round the bust and flow over your tummy.

Re: Maternity clothes

Hi, when I was pregnant with all six kids i went to the op shops like the salvos, lifeline etc, as i dont see the point in spending big money on clothes that you only wear for a couple of months. On the other hand Kmart has some nice stuff and its not to expensive. You might get lucky and find some nice stuff on Ebay

hope this answers your question, good luck with everything

Re: Maternity clothes

If you don't mind second hand clothing, eBay is great! Much cheaper than retail especially since you'll only be wearing them for about 6 months or so. You can also check out Ebay's US website, as they have a much bigger selection and many sellers will ship to Australia (still being cheaper than buying retail)! Ebay is also a great source for second hand baby clothes and nursery items, just remember to check for recalls. Hope this helps!

Re: Maternity clothes

Target & BigW & pumpkin patch have fairly good ranges of maternity wear and for online i would say ebay.com would be the best place to look.

Re: Maternity clothes

Really depends on your body shape-I found as my baby carried high and all out front many maternity clothes were too wide- all I really had to accomodate was bigger (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger) bust and bump. Having said that, the best ever maternity pants were the ones from target with the low front and also regular 'roll down' pants- I just rolled them down further as the bump got bigger. Don't spend big bucks on maternity clothes as you wear them for so little time. I recommend buying a god pair of maternity black pants as you can't go wrong with that, and alot of fashions are empire line at the moment so you can just buy tops a size bigger or so. If you are reasonably slim  or like the look of boob tubes there is alot of long ones about that stretch over bump and look great with a cropped cardi- I got a few from Valley Girl. Both Target and Kmart have a good range of maternity separates.

Most of all, have fun with your bump. I never felt more lovely or comfortable in my skin. While I was pregnant we travelled to Europe for 5 weeks, I performed in several concerts (one at 8 months pregnant) and was a bridesmaid twice-also at 8 months. You can do anything and look great doing it too. Enjoy enjoy enjoy. One day I hope to have another child and can't wait for that lovely preggo body again
