Very very very sore throat. Red swollen lumps that will come out of the side of the throat inside of course, they can have white lumps on them which is usually pus. Temperture, and generally feeling yukky.
Get to the doctor and get some antibiotics. Hope all goes well.
if this is for yourself, it feels like razor blades are running down your neck every time you swallow. You will definately have swollen tonsils and you should be able to see them at the side of your throut.. they may also look white. Hope it helps.
I suffered a lot from tonsilitis when I was a child so have a bit of personal experience. Right at the back of your throat, where the dangly thing is, on both sides are your tonsils. When they get infected they swell up causing a sore throat and making it hard to swallow. You can actually see them at the back of your throat. I had mine removed but a wee tid bit for everyone, they can grow back. I occassionally have the one on my left side swell up when I have an infection.
Tonsils will be swollen o you can hardly recognise them, and may have white spots on them. If you have a seriously sore throat and suspect tonsillitis then go see a doc fast. They will be able to get you on effective antibiotics
