hormonal imbalance would be the cause of your late period, and an infection like thrush can cause light pink, brown or thick yellow globs of mucous, even slightly bloody discharge in bad infections, its best to see a doctor soon

Jump on a bike and peddle as hard as you can - just kidding. No seriously it sounds like your gonna get your period, I think it is too early for a pregnancy test. If your really worried go the doc and have a urine and blood test done and this will help with any anxiety. But to me it sounds as if your running a bit late mate!

Sometimes at the start of your period you have a muscus plug come out, it could be just that. But go see you doctor if your worried. It could be late because your stressed also.

You could be just starting your period and it is best to go see a doctor, but I thought you should know that the pregnacy tests are not designed to test women who ovulate late in their cycle. It will read a false positive. I am one such person and with my first child we tested 3 times with a negative result and finally went to see the doctor because I was sick and really late. I was tested with a blood test to confirm that I was indeed pregnate. Also the tests read HGC in the urine so it is best to do a test first thing in the morning when there will be more in the system.

You could just be where I was a few days ago - late. Mine started in the same way, big blob of brownish clear goop. I'm used to my periods going all weird on me and even missing them completely now and then, so it takes a bit more than a few days late to make me hit the panic button. If you're worried about anything, best to see your doctor about it just to be sure.

my advise would to you would to be to go and see a doctor if the pregnacny test was negative. Obsiouvsly there is a reason for it.  So the best thing to do would to be go and see your doctor

Id just go to the Doctor and get a test there, if it comes back negative ask for a blood test.
