Re: Night Time Toilet Trainig
My daughter is 6 and still wets the bed infrequently.
Kids cannot control it. So giving stickers, rewards etc won't likely help.
I get my daughter up most nights before I go to bed, but often she's already wet the bed by the time I get there. Or she will later in the night despite my efforts.
My daughter is a heavy sleeper. By the time she lets herself fall asleep she's so tired nothing will wake her up. She sometimes gets up and wanders to the living room becuase she needs the bathroom but is completly unaware of what is going on. In the morning I will ask her about getting up and she will have no memory of getting up.
The alarm might work to teach her to get up on her own and use the toilet. I may try that as I too am sometimes experated by having to change the sheets frequently.
Other advice is see your doctor. They will check the child for infection. but I wouldn't give my child any of the medications as they are only for symptoms and don't teach the child how to stay dry at night/get up and use the bathroom and that is the long term answer.
