Re: foldable and portable booster seat

i LOVE mine! i dont have much room in the house for my highchair so i bought a foldup one that fits on chairs and gave my high chair to my mum lol! its so great! i leave it on the chair set up most of the time but if we have visitors it takes like 2 seconds to move it and fold it up, i can take it with me to friends houses if i want and pop it under my pram too!

this is a pic of one like mine, it cost me about 30 bucks!

Re: foldable and portable booster seat

We travel to Sydney often to visit family and we have a hard plastic one that folds up. (we drive, not fly)

I love it. I can take it to each of my sisters houses and he has his own chair.

The alternate is trying to feed a hungry baby sitting on your lap with the food in one hand and the spoon in the other and trying not to let the baby wiggle out of your arms. I've tried this method too, it's not much fun.

Re: foldable and portable booster seat

Mine was not foldable, but it was fantastic....  It also had a little thing in the front so that if the table was to high I could still have a little spot for him to put his food, as sometimes the chairs are to low and the tables are to high even for a portable baby seat..

But they are fantastic...  And so easy to cart around...

Re: foldable and portable booster seat

I have 2. I bought one for my son instead of a high chair. I wanted him to sit at the table with us a dinnertime, instead of sitting away from the table. It is good as the tray is removable so he can sit at the table at the right height or he can sit with the tray on if we are not at the table. Then when my daughter was ready for a high chair it was decided that we would just get another booster seat so we ended up with 2. They are much cheaper than high chairs and we paid about $60 for each. The other thing that is great is they are so easy to clean. We found by putting a towel under them on the seat it saved the fabric on our chairs.

The other thing that is great is my son is now 3 years old and would be too big for a high chair now but he can still fit into the booster.

P.S. the one i am talking about is the hard plastic ones. I know you can get soft ones with a hard bottom on them that are made for just travelling. (we have one of these as well )

Re: foldable and portable booster seat

Hey thanks Juzzy,

I am talking about the soft plastic ones, it folds up and you can just take it with you anywhere.  I bought it so we could take it interstate with us.   It is quite small and I'm not sure if it will be high enough so i'm going to practice at home with it first.

Yeah those ones are great as well, we bought one to take camping with us. They are high, i sit my niece in it when she comes over for lunch and she fits at the table with it.

Have a fantastic time on holidays
