dont worry i have a six moth old who went through the stage of screaming, it lasted 2 or three weeks and his thoat did get hoarse he just got really excited and i think he was amazed that he could make a noise, after a few weeks he stoped screaming and started making new noises, if u r really worried start making different noises to your bub like bababa or ga ga ga  they will start to copy you and forget about the screaming!

My daughter is 2 and has been screaming since she was 5 months . . . I have to admit that it often gets annoying but it is part of her little personality so we just grin and bear it . .   Along with her screaming comes laughter and a complete joy for life, what more could a parent want.

My son is 3 months old and does the exact same thing, his been doing it for 2 weeks but its getting very loud now. He just gets excited when his playing with his toys cos he smacks thema round abit now. Its all healthy and a good sign that your baby is happy. So just remember, its only gonna get louder lol..His just finding his voice and showing you what he can do.

must be normal my son still squeals louder than my daughter, its frustrating but yea hed be a happy boy i reckon

This is very normal and he is just showing his pleasure at things.

My son used to do this, he still does at 15mth.  He did stop for a good while tho.   I think he is just learning and finding his voice.  very annoying and nothing to worry about.  Best just to try and ingore it or get some ear plugs LOL

my son went through this stage last month.  all he would do is tense up and scream his lungs out over nothing.  it gort very annoying as its high pitched.

he will grow out of it as its just him findin his voice
