spotting??

We have been ttc and recently just taken some fertilty drugs to help he proccess. I have irregular periods but have semi regulated since we started treatment. I calculated i should have ovulated over last weekend, but have been making sure we get randy every 2 days. This morning i passed a bit of dark brown and red blood, but the discharge is also a bit stretchy.

So, im wondering, could it be ovulation, can you bleed during ovulation,

or could itbe implantation, or just random?

sorry for being so graphic.

Re: spotting??

 from babymed.com:

Implantation Bleeding and Pregnancy Implantation, the attachment of the fertilized egg to the uterine lining, happens between 6 and 12 days after ovulation and fertilization, and on average about 9 days after ovulation. Your period usually starts about 14 days after ovulation, so if you know when you ovulated and you experience some spotting, less than your period, about a week after ovulation, then it could be implantation bleeding.
Also, implantation bleeding is usually spotting, it's scanty, pinkish and not red and heavy like a period. Implantation bleeding does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light to heavy to light) and about 12-14 dpo. And it rarely if ever lasts longer than a day or two.

...A blood pregnancy test can be positive about three to four days after implantation and a urine pregnancy test will be positive about five to six days after implantation.

I'd watch for the early signs of pregnancy and get a couple of home pregnancy tests.  Good luck! :D

Re: spotting??

Hi, it is possible that it's implantion bleeding.  That sometimes happens. If you are worried, contact your doctor.

Good luck,
