Oven guard?

Where is the best place in Australia to get an oven guard from?  Is it a baby shop or somwhere like Target?

My 15mth old boy always plays with the knobs of the hot plates and almost always turn the element down or off when I am cooking.  Very fustrating!  It's gas.

Re: Oven guard?

I got one from Toys R Us and it was around $30.  it works ok.  It is held one by adhesive  and my son has pulled on it a few times which isn't really good for the adhesive.  Overall it is fine though.  I think you can get knob covers too.

Re: Oven guard?

Hey Kellzacar,

Opps I actually ment stove nob covers not an oven guard.   I need to stop him from playing with the element knobs and the clock and timer etc...

I had a look at the site and they sell these but the oven guard that you showed me is a really good idea might get that as well..

Re: Oven guard?

I know you can get the knob guards from Bunnings. You could also try the supermarket as i know my local one (safeway) sells them.

Hope this helps, my now 3 year old does the same thing.
