Re: front facing car seat

Please check with your child's doctor before switching the seat.  The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends at a bare minimum that a child be 1 AND at least 20 pounds, but also recommends that children stay rear-facing to the limits of their seat.  Check your carseat manual to find out what the weight and height limits are.

Ultimately, rear-facing is safer--several times safer than front facing.  Especially given your daughter is not yet 1.

Please PLEASE watch this video and check out these websites before turning your child around.

Re: front facing car seat

i moved mac at 9mnths he was weight appropraite early and had good head control it still has to be a high backed booster seat with a 5point harness pref head support too, weight wise the baby car seats generally tk them upto 13kg usually 14mnths you'll need to check !!!!

my booster seat says

9-18kg with 5 point harness

15-25kg high back booster child secured with adult belt

22-36kg base of booster seat only (remove back)

hope that helps hugs jo xxx

Re: front facing car seat

Here, every province has a different weight and height and age limit, but a good rule of thumb is when their feet start to hang over the end of the basinette carseat, it's time to move to a front facing one.
