Re: HELP please

You just made my eyes water!!!  Ouchy!  I get pimples and blocked hair folicles in that area all the time, and most hurt like someone just stuck me with the sharpest needle in the world.

Without actually seeing the cyst, I wouldn't be able to tell you if it was the same thing, so might be worth a trip to town to see the doc and show them.  I've found male doctors can be the better ones to see as they are very aware of the sensitive nature of womens issues and are more likely to not babble on about it all to you.  Most doctors don't like having a bad reputation.  The females I have found, like to waffle on about nothing and make you feel even more uncomfortable.  I guess I might have got a bad one, but I'm definitely sticking to my very male doctor (helps he is the local family and pregnancy consultant but not obstetrician.).

Re: HELP please

All I can say is, if I had anything that was different with my "manhood" I would be at the doctors faster than you could say WTF>>>>

A short while ago my wife had a similar thing happen...Women have a gland called the Bartolin Gland (spelling???) that on occaision will block...a course of antibiotics will often help it but all too often will give side effect of thrush...catch 22.

On occaision these will need to be drained and is done under general (for reasons plain enough...Oouch)...the proceedure is called Marsupialisation and involves a cross inscission to be made and the corners of cut folded back and stiched to allow drainage.

I hope this is NOT what is wrong because I saw how much pain it caused my wife both before and after the proceedure.

Here's a wish to help you get better....

Re: HELP please

Just wondering if your skin is oily because mine is and thinking it may be linked...if so we may be able to devise a way of clensing to rid ourselves of it...just a thought?????

PM me with any thoughts.

Re: HELP please

Magnaplasum is good for drawing cysts out, however i'm not sure on putting it in areas that are so close to internal regions.

I would def recormend seeing a doctor, as you don't want to it cause further damage as it could be something more than a cyst.

Re: HELP please

Magnaplasm is often best used when quite warm which aithout thinking of the actual stickyness of the stuff would be really irritating I would imagine.

Get to your doctor....don't be ashamed...this sort of stuff is quite normal for women.....us bloke have it so easy and when we do have a problem we often behave like such whimps.

Re: HELP please

Hi, sounds like you may have a Bartholin cyst, these can become a painful abcess which needs to be excised by a doctor.

You should try to get to a doctor to see if this is what you need or whether antibiotics would do the trick.

Please don't sqeeze it or try to fix it yourself as you might get a bigger infection as a result.

Re: HELP please

Stand up qick and yell BINGO...because it is exactly what I think it could be but best to make the trip in to see the doc.

If you live in the sticks and it gets worse it will be even more uncomfortable and no doubt take longer to recover.

Re: HELP please

Ouch!  zi have had cysts and they are painful - especially I imagine if they are being rubbed.  There are different kinds of cysts and they are treated differently.

DO NOT try and aqueeze it or extract what is in it as this can make it worse!!

I not you said you don't live near a doctor - but I REALLY think you should get yourself to one and let him assess what type it is and how best to deal with it.  It sounds as though it needs draining surgically (yuk, I know, but the best way is to drain it using a fine needle)

some cysts are just caused by a blocked hair follicle and once it is unbolcked the cyst will heal and go away, but others can recurr.  I once had one on my neck that I had removed and the surgeon left the very base of it and it regrew - bigger and better than ever.  The second removal went well and I ahve never had a problem with it.

Get help as soon as you can because chances are it will only get worse, not better.  Also, if you leave it and don't seek help it may become solid and will be there permanently.

Please let me know how you go!!  Sharon
