Re: Teething
Hi there
As everyone else has said - a cold damp facewasher works wonders. I used alot ot teething rings and you can get teething books and toys too. If your child is old enough, you could give him/her some fruit or veg chunks to chew on. Or the plain teething rusks that you can get from supermarkets are great too. They are super hard, so they arent that easy to get thru, but once they have a few teeth, you will have to watch them with it.
As for pain relief, i always gave my son panadol and he started teething at about 4 months old. You just have to make sure you give them the minimum amount and never go over the recommended dosage for the day. If you prefer a natural teething relief, you can get brauer teething relief. I dont think it ever really worked for my son, but i know some people who swear by it. I also used bonjela for his gums. He loved the taste. But again, just minimal amounts.
The main thing your bub will need is lots of kisses and cuddles. Lots and lots of attention from Mummy should help ease the pain a little bit!!
Good luck, hope that your baby cuts those teeth quickly for you!!
