Re: water

Think of drinks he does like and just water them down. If you give him Orange Juice for example mix it with 1/3 - 1/2 water. I often do this with my own Juices as I don't like overly sweet things but I do like a bit of flavour. You can also do it with Milk, if you give your son a lot of milk.

Thinking of ways you can add extra water to his diet is important, Try feeding him foods that have a high content of water such as watermelon (Seeds removed), Grapes, Oranges, ETC these will also hydrate him if you are worried of Dehydration, they are also a healthier alternative to Cordials or Juices.

Re: water

Keep trying. Don't give him other options if it's that important to you. Eventually he'll drink. Or water down the sugar free mixes and disguise it!:)

Re: water

Yes i agree with the other comment about putting in ice cubes/blocks made with juice. I had a similar challenge with one of my kids when they were younger. i tried the ice block thing, it seemed to get their attention more coz of the colour and it has a bit of flavour to entice. little by little i just reduced the amount and strength of juice blocks until they formed a habit of drinking water.

Good luck
