Re: raw veggies

if your going to give vegies at 6 months try par boiling them first rather than giving a child hard raw vegies. with any new food make sure you supervise the child eating and interduse new food one at a time 3-5 days in between.

Re: raw veggies

I never gave my kids raw vegies until I knew that they where able to chew them and also for them to know when to spit the big pieces out instead of trying to swallow them. It seams weird but you will know when the better time for this is. Both my boys, when the food was too big would stick there tongues out with the food on it, so I told them to spit it into their hands for it to be put in the bin. It did work for me, I hope it works for you.

Re: raw veggies

from 6 months on I gave my kids stuff like that as teething aides.

cut them into soliders and the child can hold onto them and chew away. you must watch them with any food as they can chock on anything
