i think it varies with each individual but i started getting morning sickness with both of my babies before my period was even late so i think you can get symptoms in the first week of conception or not long after that anyway

like afew have said every one is different. I was ill within days of conception. my daughter was the next day. where my aunty had no symptoms til a missed period at 25 weeks  and then had heaps of problems afterwards.

I started having symptoms in the first week with my first. Had slight nausea and certain foods were making me feel sick. I was also a lot more tired.

With Krue, I had symptoms about 5 weeks after conception. Where as with my current pregnancy I started getting symptoms about 2 days later. I know its a very short amount of time, but because I hardly get sex I know which day this baby was definately conceived on.

With my first baby, I was having symptoms within a few days.  My body went into over drive as I'd had 4 miscarriages previously, so it fought like anything to keep my first successful pregnancy.  With my other four, it varied from within a week, to being a couple of months, but I always knew I was pregnant because my other children suddenly got clingy.

i think every one is different, but for myself i knew it after 3 weeks of PREGNANCY:) ..

I knew or suspected within a week each time - my boobs get ULTRA sensitive and I cant stand to be hugged etc! But of course I dont let myself get excited at all until after the test a few weeks in, as so many pregnancies fail before your period is late, and I didnt want to know for sure I'd miscarried if it was that early. Better to think it might be my overactive imagination!

i had symptoms before my period was due but i didnt take note as we had been let down mth after mth, that worked out to be in yrs!! but i was 5 weeks pregnant and i was sick as anything, sore boobs, couldnt stand certain smells and already started showing!!! i think everyone is different

some people say they know in a week or so others it might take a few months

I know people personally who have started morning sickness within a week after conception, Myself it is generally 4-6 weeks befor I show any physical signs but mentally I get extremely emotional and confused and that is a sign to my partner that I may be pregnant.

my last 2 pregnancies, i suspected i was pregnant a few days before my period was due.  my first pregnancy (twins) i had symptoms from around the time my period was due but i put this down to being on night shift and and thinking it was psychological, as we had been trying unsuccessfully for 2 1/2 years. i had a positive pregnancy test a week later. 

about 4 weeks or so i think i found out about a month later that i was pregnant
