Re: Contraception ????

HI,

I went with the implant after my last  one was born. I couldn't take the pill as when I did it make me sick. The implant is 100% on top of this and it can also stop your period. It lasts for 3 years before they remove it and put in another one

Re: Contraception ????

i have tried more or less everything your best bet would be to visit family planning and ask for advice as everyone is different.  the IUD would probably be better for you or the good old fashioned condom as neither of them contain hormone.  good luck anyway hope it all works out.

Re: Contraception ????

Hello,Hello! I just wanted to reply to your question on contraception. I have had three children and after the last one ( who is nearly 3) we have used condoms and the only problem is fighting the urge to not use it! I know that condoms aren't regarded as the safest of contraceptive methods but then the only failsafe method is abstinance ( and no-one I know likes the sound of that!!!LOL) and even the pill can fail to prevent pregnancy sometimes.

Another option would be to ask your partner whether he would like to undergo a vasectomy and when he turns green and splutters 'NO'  then tell him to 'go buy a packet of condoms, then!'

Hope this helps,

Goodluck and kindest regards,

Tina

Re: Contraception ????

Hi, I went off the pill at least 5 yrs ago because of bleeding or lack of problems and have been using condoms ever since. The plus side for me is the no mess afterwards and if hubby wants it, then he has to buy them.

Hope that helped.

Re: Contraception ????

Hi, I would go to a Dr or Gyn. Tell them how your cycle is playing up with your current pill.  There are other ways of contraception now. Have you thought of an implant, needle or IUD.

The hormones in your current pill might not agree with you. There are heaps of different pills.

Cheers
