hearing and vision
Yesterday I learned that my son has a significant hearing loss at only 8 months old. He passed his infant screening and to be quite honest I didn't expect to hear bad news when he came out of the sedated test. On top of this he has a very rare eye disease FEVR that has affected his vision. He goes for his 2nd laser/cryo surgery on Jan 9th to try and help this condition. I was just wondering if any parents that had a child suffering from either one of these complications had any advice. I want to make sure that we are stimulating him and he is able to develop as best as possible. If anyone knew of any toys that their child seemed to really like or any advice we would love to hear it. Thanks,
