i agree, just let her know that you are always there if she wants to talk, It could be just nerves and she wants to be brave in front of you. I hope she goes well with it all.

she may not want to discuse it atm. I know at 14 when i had surgery on my knees i did not want to talk about it with my mum but i did with my friends.

Personally just leave her be. she may be really scared and just not want to talk about it.

just let her know that you are always there if she does want to talk about it.
