my Mum used to (and still does) make what we call flat bread... Use the normal bread recipe (flour water and yeast) and make the dough, then cut small bits off, roll them flat with a rolling pin (or jar etc) then fry in a fry pan until brown and crispy on each side... don't have the pan too hot, it may take a while to get the right temp so they don't burn... not sure if this is what you are after, but we love these with butter and jam, or with stews...

Hi tokchik88.......I'm not sure if this is the same thing you are talking about but I just make the normal bread recipe and after the dough has risen I slice off long strips and deep fry them. Or you can you can shape the dough in six inch ropes and let them rise and then fry them. Either way they are scrumptious! My mom used to call them turkey tails...don't ask me why. Good Luck
