Re: HELP !!!! Food colouring everywhere.

Hi I had this with green and blue - only mine was cause by my teenager grrr

For the floors and bench top I used Gumption paste that worked wonders and for the walls I used magic eraser (little white blocks from the supermarket) AMAZING - even got rid of the black permanent marker from one of my little mans artistic moments

Re: HELP !!!! Food colouring everywhere.

Hi, I am hearing you! My cherub managed to snaffle a large container of blue food colouring and decorated my walk in pantry and kitchen with it! I managed to wash it off the tiles with lots of water and detergent, but the painted walls and  cupboard doors were another story! i washed as much as I could off with water and dishwashing liquid. I then took to the walls and paintwork with sugar soap, and a non abrasive scourer ( one of those silver ones) It removed the worst of it! When I finally got to town, I bought some of the magic cubes ( they are FANTASTIC !!!! GET RID OF EVERYTHING!!!!!) they got rid of most that was left! Anything that didn't come off, I just wiped down onn a regular basis and it eventually went away! I kept finding splatters in the most amazing places! As for the cherub, it took several baths to remove it from her! Good luck!

Re: HELP !!!! Food colouring everywhere.

I don't know about the walls etc (eek) but to get it off Kylie try rubbing with bicarb soda. If this doesn't work I would get a large tube of any old generic exfoliating body scrub and get her to give herself a good old scrub with it and a loofah sponge. This has worked for me getting stubborn artist's pastels, oxides and other paint stains from my skin.

Actually for the floor wall etc you might want to try methylated spirits or mineral turpentine. Ventilate the area well and wear gloves as it can enter the bloodstream and don't let anyone smoke near it- highly flammable. It will shift nearly any stain though. And I think Miss Kylie may need to do alot of helping given you should be resting and she made the mess!!!!

Hi as long as it is not on your carpet i found a little domestos bleach works wonders but try some watered down a bit first and then slowly make it stronger. if this fails invest in some of those amazing magic cube cleaners they even get permanent marker off walls can get them in the cleaning isle in the supermarket
