Re: help plz ...

i put close to 40 kg on when i was preg (eating to much junk food and not getting out enough)

i found the tea didnt help me lose to much.  i lost more weight when i ate a healthier diet.

iv nearly gotten back to my pre baby body in under 6 months

also found that if i only eat when im hungry i lost heaps. make sure your actually hungry before you make something to eat, have a glass of water and if your still hungry then eat if your not then you might have been thirsty.

dont force your self to lose to much weight as you will make your self sick.

Re: help plz ...

Hey there, You are doing OK! If you are breastfeeding, don't go on any radical diet! I put on nearly 20kg and by the time my cherub was 12 months old I was back to ( and under) my pre-pregnancy weight! My sister put on nearly 30 kg with her 2nd and struggled a little, but she stuck to a healthy vegetable, fruit, grain and low fat meat or other low fat protein regimen and within 18 months was back to her usual weight. Think about it...it takes 9 months for the weight to go on...it is not going to vanish overnight! ( No matter what we see in the magazines... we don't all have access to personal chefs, personal trainers and housemaids and nannies.( so we can hang out with our personal trainers) ...wouldn't it be LOVELY! If you go out on weekends, try and look for the healthier , low fat options....take along tzaki or hommous low fat dip and a pack of rice crackers and sliced raw carrot when you visit. If you eat out, try and opt for steamed or grilled food and sald or veg without dressing, or a low fat dressing. if you look for them, there are healthier options! You are allowed to have a treat now and then otherwise you will break out of your healthy habits! If it means one day a week you eat out for dinner, don't feel bad! Try and take your beautiful cherub for a 30 - 40 minute walk each day. It's great exercise pushing a pram and a cherub! Each week try to cover more distance in a little less time! You are doing great and you don't need to go on any wild diets to achieve sucess!

Re: help plz ...

diet is the best.

there is this great one my SIL did that you eat the right sized meals and lots of fruit and you find out the right % of protien, carb, fat etc and eat that + instead of 3 meals a day u have 6-7 small meals a day so your matabalism is always going. she did this and lost heaps of weight. about 40kg from memory in 6 months. she still eats this way too. she went from a size 20 to a 12/10 and is really healthy now too. it also helped her PMS and other health things like acne and stress.

Re: help plz ...

My hubby to be lost 60 kilos to get in to the army. His ex trainer said that anymore than a kilo a week for women isn't healthy and weight loss should be a slow and gradual process. 5 weeks isn't a long time when you think about it. So if you're *only* losing 3.5 kilos in 5 weeks then in a year you could easily be your goal weight. A year isn't very long when you think about it! It goes by very quickly! Don't fall in to the trap of wanting to see instant results or you'll only be disappointed. And then one week when you might gain a little weight or plateau you might get a little disappointed and fall back in to the old lifestyle trap.

Back on topic,  I wouldn't recommend the tea. Yes it gives you results fast, however, will you put weight back on just as fast when you stop? Yes you will. You can't let your body live on tea for Pete's sake honey!! It needs plenty of vegies, fruits, grains, the right carbs, protein etc

3.5 kilos in 5 weeks is GOOD anymore than 1-2 kilos a week lost will only make you sick and feel weak.

If you keep at it, a year will go past. And if you don't then a year will still go past.

There is no easy fix to a long term problem.
