Acne in toddlers

My 14 month girl has started to develop acne that looks like clusters of tiny whiteheads on her cheeks.  Her skin is supersoft & clear eveywhere else.  I'm assuming it's probably a reaction to something so we're working through a process of elimination but it's getting slightly worse.  It's not itchy or bothering her at all and it's not red.  Has anyone else experienced this and know what caused it in their child?

Re: Acne in toddlers

My son had this at 2 weeks old and sometimes a few pop up under his eye and he even has one in his armpit. It is baby pimples, i think there called milk spots or the proper name is "milia". It should clear up in a few weeks, if not talk to your doctor about it.

It can be a reaction to something such as washing powder or her bath wash. It might also be the weather, being warm now they could even be sweat pimples.

I dont think there was any cause for my son, like no reaction to anything. My health nurse told me hormones, the same reason we get pimples.
