Acne

My 11-year old daughter seems to have acne.  I don't know if it is actually acne - she has a LOT of pimples all over her face!!!  She is a beautiful little girl and is already so ashamed by it.  I didn't know that you can get acne at such a young age.  I also don't know whether is an allergy reaction - she's intollerant to gluten and diary products which she just can't seem to cut out.  Has anyone got some advice pleaaaaase.

Re: Acne

Get medical advice and/or take her to a beautician with a good reputation and experience helping create a suitable cleansing regime to help control the acne without drying the skin etc.

Re: Acne

your poor daughter having to go through the process of pre-teens.. he comes the pimples! first off please tell your daughter not to touch them as she will either spread them more and give her face scars. it might be good to see your doctor as they can give you medicated creams. I personally am using proactive and it works well with me, for someone who has suffered serverly with pimples this works good for me.. good luck :)

Re: Acne

My neice is 11yrs old and has started getting little pimples on her face. It could be the start of puberty, they say that happens betwen 11-16yrs old. Maybe she just has oily skin?? My neice runs around alot at school and at home so her face does get sweaty. My neice has been using nivea YOUNG,Its worked really well and she isnt getting pimples anymore.
