Re: pregnancy question

It is possible to fall pregnant any time of your cycle, though when ovulating is the most fertile time of your body.

To reduce the risk of pregnancy (nothing apart from a full hystorectomy is going to work 100%), you need to use at least 1 method of birth control.  Use condoms with a spermicide foam, go on a chemical contraceptive, IUD's or diaghrams are designed for pregnancy prevention.

to give you an idea on the risks of you getting pregnant from having sex 2 days before your period, it can take upto 7-10 days, so it is still possible to get pregnant even if you have sex during your period.

Re: pregnancy question

It means you are not pregnant from the month before. You are at your most fertile about halfway between periods. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Re: pregnancy question

normaly a females cycle will go through a 28 day period. it is on the last day of the cycle you get your period and on that day the cycle starts all over again. Normally a female will ovulate (egg released) 14 days after the first day of her period. It is more than likely that you are more likely to fall pregnant if you engage in intercourse when you ovulate or 3 days before/after. so it is very unlikely the you would be pregnant.
