try making a plane out of a card board box,put some toys on seats etc,do a take off and a landing play.if that doesnt  work,if i were you i would ask  the doctor for a calmative ,

Hi, why not get him a toy plane to play with now?  It may Take some of the fear away. Also when on the plane toys that can be played with in his seat are great. Mr Potato Head is perfect because he packs up inside. Also get some little things, wrap them all individually eg. crayons wrapped up, colouring book wrapped seperately. This draws out the process of giving him stuff. And can you visit the airport before the trip? Make if fun..go have a treat in a cafe and watch the planes take off. I bet he'll get excited if you talk to him about where people could be going and what they may see when they get there.

just try and make it fun for him on the plane to keep him occipied like with lots of colourin books and toys and food, games anything that you can think of to keep him entertained and keep his mind off bein scared!

my son loves to run up n down the isle and thats a pretty good time waster

oh maybe reading him stories about planes and how fun they are might help!
