Flying with a newborn

My wife and I will be flying back home within two weeks of our baby being born.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  The flight is about 2.5 hours long.

Thank you,

Re: Flying with a newborn

Depending on the size of the plane you may be able to request to be seated where the onflight bassinet is.   Call the airline in advance and put the request in your booking otherwise you have very little chance of getting it.

Re: Flying with a newborn

last Summer Leena was 2 months when we left to our country from Australia, it took us 19 hours to reach our destination. it was ok for both of us. but the most important thing is to feed ur baby, breast feeding or bottle while taking off or landing. that's it.

enjoy ur trip and have alot of fun ...

good luck.

I've heard that breast feeding / bottle feeding whilst the plane takes off and lands stops their ears popping. Good luck with the trip.
