Training pants.

I would like to know if there is any difference between girls and boys training pants.  My sister has a boy and she gave me some training pants ( which are still in the package ).  I am thinking of potty training my 2 year old in few weeks.  My nephew is fully potty trained.  Well, the package says boys training pants and has alphabets theme on it.  I have not yet purchased any for my little girl so far, so i wouldn`t know the difference.

Does anyone on this site have any idea.?

Thank you all.

I think the main differences are the fit and absorbancy (and of course the patterns). But there would be no reason why you couldn't use them. Anything that saves money is great.  Hope the potty training goes well.

Re: Training pants.

i believe that the extra padding may be in a slighly different place (boys have more padding at the front, girls have more at the bottom.  I think the only real difference is the pictures on them.  I use mainly boy nappies with my girls and boy, as I think the boy nappies have more padding.  I dont think it really matters- I would take advantage of the offer and use the free packet!!

Hi fifey!

I think with some training pants there are a difference between girl and boy ones. Like sometimes the boys ones are in a blue package and the girls one are in a pink package. Im not sure if there is a difference on how they work. But i girl prolly would wanna have pink ones if they know theyre colors already. You could prolly ask some1 at the place where they were purchased

Not too sure if they make them any different. But truly I think it is just a gimmick they have come up with for boys and girls. I found a grat special on Nappies but they only had girls left, I put them on my girls and there didnt seem to be any difference only they were wearing pink :)
