Its good they got to it before it could do much serious damage to yourself.
In the respect of having more children, if your wanting more - maybe wait a few years and see if they can check the scar and see how it healed, and also if you do want more children they might have some ideas for you.

I do think its important that at the moment you focus on healing up and getting better though.

Glad you got it checked out.  Hope you feel better soon, sounds aweful. Rest up, and try not to worry about future pregnancy problems just yet...........get yourself all physically healed up before you tackle that emotional thought.  All the best. xx josie
