What do you think??

Im 18 weeks pregnant -
Starting at 9pm on Sunday I had cramps for 20 hours, which went away and I had no problems but was a little panicky, and now today I just went to the toilet and had a lot of discharge, it actually looks like when your ovulating, but times ovulation by about 60 and that is what I had. It was yellowish, and non-offensive smelling...

Any ideas as to what this could be, and if they are related or just two things in the same week??

I want to know if you think I should go to a doctor, as I am home by myself with Krue (almost 7 months) for 2 days as my partner will be in hospital, and getting to the doctors on my own would be a real mission

Re: What do you think??

I WOULD DEFINITELY SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE.  IF YOU CAN'T GET TO THE DOCTORS, RING THE DOCTOR AND ASK IF HE CAN COME OUT TO SEE YOU AT HOME.  ALTERNATIVELY, ASK A NEIGHBOUR IF THEY CAN EITHER TAKE YOU TO THE DOCTORS OR MIND YOUR BABY SO THAT IT WILL BE EASIER FOR YOU TO GET THERE BY YOURSELF.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU ARE GOING.

Re: What do you think??

Yer, I also reccommend going to the doctor - even if it is nothing you will be reassured and not have to worry.

It might be some sort of infection. I could just be one of those freak things that seems to happen during pregnancy.

I know it is a huge effort to go to the doctor with the little one.  I usually try to keep mine in the pram when I'm talking with the doctor.

Take some toys and snacks to keep bub amused, and get yourself some nice take away lunch so you don't have to come home and cook.

Hope all goes well.

Re: What do you think??

dont waste any time second guessing yourself or the advice of others.  Your doctor is the ONLY one who can give you the right advice and NO ONE should think any less of you for being safe.  I would have gone when I first had the cramps as there is just no way of knowing for sure what may or may not be wrong

Best of luck with the  rest of your pregnancy
