Re: Scan
Unless you have a pre existing medical condition, then there should be no complications. If there are any, your medical team will go through them with you and offer the advice you will need to get through them.
There are common complaints in pregnancy though, and these can pretty much take over your life. They include increased need to pee, tiredness all the time, increase/decrease in libido, increase/decrease in appetite, sore back/legs/all over, indigestion and heartburn, not being able to sit still for long.
Like I said, they are pretty common, and not considered to be a complication, just annoying.
Enjoy your pregnancy and remember, if there is something you don't understand, then ask about it. i'm sure many of us have been there too.

Re: Scan
wow your one of the lucky ones no morning sickness, i had it bad both times, i love how they call it morning sickness haha not at all...what can you expect from here well i will say expect the unexpected, it is a roller coaster ride of different emotions, new pains in places you didnt know you could get pains, everyone thinks your stomache is public property, test after test after test, everybody has a different experience, after saying all that i tell you both pregnancies were the best times of my life and i wouldn`t change it for anything and i bet nearly every mother would say the same. i found 4-6 months the best part of my pregnancies as you just start to feel and see your bubs kicking (which is a feeling you will never forget its amazing) your comfortable as your not to big at this point. Just go with the flow there is no point in worryin whats going to happen, if something is going to happen its going to happen stressing yourself out worryin bout it is not good for you or bubs, just enjoy the ride. good luck to you :)

Re: Scan
Me too! I had a thing for marshmallows, and when they told me I had diabetes and that I couldn't have ANY marshmallows I actually cried. But I didn't find the needles too bad. Hope we're not scaring you!!
Back to the original question- if you don't have morning sickness you are sooooo totally lucky, I had it morning noon and night for the first 3 months, and a kind of tired I had never felt before. I fell asleep everywhere. In the 2nd and 3rd trimesters you can look forward to swollen hands and feet, clumsiness, forgetfulness, your skin, nails and hair will change, it may even grow faster! And seeing and feeling the baby move is amazing. Enjoy every minute, and sleep while you can!
So many things, I highly recommend the book 'What to expect when you're expecting'. It has everything you need to know in it and then some.
