Re: Baby names anyone??

We named our boys Vaughan and Rhett both old names that you rarely hear these days.  And we named our daughter Anais.  We pronounce in Anay so probably would have been better if we'd spelt it that way..  or maybe Anai.

Good luck on getting pregnant and finding a name

Re: Baby names anyone??
when i found out i was pregnant with my now 22month old son i constantly tossed names through the air. if it was to be a girl i liked the name natalia, jacinta, and if it was a boy (which it turned out to be) i liked kristian, brynn (welsh name) or rhys (another welsh name and the one i picked for my son). i know what it is like when you are tryingto pick a name for your unborn child. i hope that you and your partner find a name that is a bit unusual and one that you both like for your child.

Re: Baby names anyone??

Well I can't help with boys names, I named my boys Damian and Taylor. But if either of em turned out to be a girl she would of been called Kalisha, very uncommon, and can be spelt many different ways. I like the name Jaya it sound nice.

Re: Baby names anyone??

There are a lot of great books out there as well as websites with ideas.  It is nice to get some feedback fro actual people sometimes too, which is why this site is so great.

I had the same opinion as you with names.  My name is Jennifer, which is EXTREMELY popular around here.  Every year in school there was at least one other kid in my class with the same name.  We went by our last names which made me Jennifer P.  You can imagine what fun the kids in elementary school had with that.  I was Jennifer "Pee".

Anyway, my little boy is named Kevin.  A well known name but not too common anymore.  My daughter is named Shianne.  I have only heard it a few times and everyone spells it differently.   Shiane, Cheyane, etc.

There are so many names out there that it is hard to pick a favorite.

Good luck!
