Diahorria before labour???

Has anyone experienced diahorria before labour? My baby is due now and from last night I've developed the worst diahorria I've ever had. I've read on a few websites this is normal but I've never heard of it happening before. This will be my fourth child.

If it is bad - go to the doctor.  I think your body tries to empty itself during early labour, but it shouldn't go on for a few days. Good luck.

Im glad to say it stopped  when I went to bed, I woke up feeling better than ever, even the morning sickness decided to stop for a day, finally.

Anyway 3 days past my due date and baby still hasn't arrived.

I'll keep you posted!

Re: Diahorria before labour???

Hi there,

I have heard it is quite common. My first baby was induced 10 days over so i didn't get it and my 2nd baby was a planned c section 1 1/2 weeks early. But my sisters all had it.

If you are not feeling sick or gastro like feelings i'm guessing it could be baby not being too far away. Call the hospital if you want an answer straight away.

Good Luck

Thanks, I've been quite paranoid about it. My baby's due today and I would be so embarrased to go to hospital if I still have it.

Hope it dissapears soon as I have morning sickness (yes I've had it the whole 9 months with all my girls) and im feeling weak as no food or drink will stay in,
