solids

Hi,

My daughter wants to know a few things but I can't remember form the kids years ago so if I could have some help.

1 When can Claire eat sandwiches.

2 when can Claire have breakfast cereal.

She is 9 month 4 weeks.

Hi - Claire sounds the same age as my daughter (just gone 10 months).  She's been enjoying wheetbix for brekky for a few months now (you can mix it nice and mushy with some formula or exp BM and I also add some fruit flavoured rice cereal).  She's also fine eating sandwiches (just makes a bit of a mess).  Michaela has 3.5 teeth (one just poked through the other day) and can chew quite well (loves the baby rice cakes and the odd milk arrowroot bikkie too).

id say its safe to give them to her now just watch her with both. my son loves cheese sandwiches (well eats the cheese first then smushies the bred)

he started on weet bix at 4 months (drs orders) then moved to wat ever

at 6 months I was giving my kids wheat bix and formula and at 10 months yogurt with it.

at 6 months I was giving them sandwhiches (not that they stayed like it for long)

I would say there is no problem at 9 months to give them cereal and sandwhiches as long as u keep in m ind the milk thing.
