hi every1 2 nights ago everything was going smoothly and the misses and i got our little boy to bed nice and early for once well it seemed we sat down and thought yes a night where we can sit down and relax it felt like the first time in ages anyway a couple hours later i decided to go lay down and he got up and came straight in and layed next to me surely enough a minutes after he came in and went back to sleep next to me i heard him cough so i had leant up to make sure that he was all right he coughed again but this time he was sick all over the top of our bed where our heads go anyway i felt his forehead and he was burning up so i asked his mum to run him a warm bath and after the bath he slept alright until he woke me up at 4:30am the next morning by rolling on my head and being very talkative to me i felt a little grumpy about it but at same time understanding because i knew he was sick the night b4 i felt his forehead again and he was still pretty warm but seemed o.k a little bit later i felt forehead again and he was still pretty hot so i asked his mum to ring the doctor surgery to see if we could get him into see a doctor just to get told we have to wait 3:00pm so we took him to his poppies house but he wasnt home so we went and looked for him because my brother wouldnt answer the door but we found him up the with my nan and he got given an icy pole and his mum and i thought oh yeah that should help with his temp we went back to his pops and put wiggles on while we were waiting 4 time to pass as it approached 3:00pm we got him in to the surgery and lined up i was holding him and i heard him cough but this time he did a little burp and i said to him jokingly dont spew on me wait to we get in to the doctor well 2 seconds later surely enough he was sick on me so i went take him into the toilets and they were unisex toilets this confused me so i asked his mum if they were for every1 so went in there and i told him if needs to be sick again to spew in the bowl hes a gr8 listener hey he finished it up without making anymore mess gr8fully anyway we got given supposatrie panodol because he wasnt keeping anything down and other antibotics which we were instructed not to give him until he kept something down anyway later his temp was 41 later on that night the panodol didnt seem to be working so we decided to take him to ythe hospital and the ladie came straight out checked his temp and weight straight away and then gave him childrens panodol which was a suprise to us anyway usually they take longer and we ended up being there till 2am but thankfully he is o.k and they got onto it straight away for him but we never actually got told what was wrong which was a little dissapointing but main thing was that our little man was all right to come home with us.

I can't help but wonder if he is Add / Adhd how would I tell?? How can I stop this unruley behaviour? Our messy dirty home makes me blue and although I provide a good example he still wont help us pick it all up. ARRRRR I know there will be mess but gosh this is ridiculas! He sits and watches tv instead of playing and I have to say he is learning from it (I think he is anyways) I have now got a different form of employment and things are going well life is good! Hmm what to get her for mothers day (our son is still too small to do anything and she deserves something nice) Anyways Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers for tomorrow

It does have a lip designed to catch it but it does not help so I find myself having to research anything on minti with the name potty in the title. He is currently 17mths and has started to put his hands in front of his nappy which I believe to be his sighn for needing to widdle but as yet have not caught him in time for the potty prehaps when he can talk I should try him as he will let us know he has to go maybe Arrrr very frustraiting but I have every confidence in the advice written by fellow minti members and we will get there!

Well so far I have had a bad start to my new year, my computer has gone and caught a worm from somewhere and to combat the problem for free I went online and downloaded several free trial anti virus thingys. At one point my computer was looking worse for ware only starting in safe mode as normal startup kept rebooting. when it finaly stoped rebooting I was sad to find that photos stored on my pc from our new digital cam could not be seen just some icon showing that it was ment to be a photo so i downloaded some graphics as well as antivirus stuff and as you can see it's now working well with all photos and memories restored. However now I find myself in the predicament of having too much protection as some sites such as neopets I am unable to view I quickly figured out to go to tools and then net options but thus far all combinations I have tried have failed to allow certain sites to load, but I need my computer protected very annoying!. I can't understand why these viruses and things get invented?

Because of computer failing to work lately I have been unable to enter any competitions online and research why my son has gone nuts ok well not nuts but naughty, I know the heat is partly the problem but just little things like deliberatly playing with power points he knows the word NO looks at me when I say it and then considers should i or shouldn't i then flicks it! when I go to discapline him he either runs away or he dives under something low standing such as the bed, coffee table chairs etc... when I do finally get my hands on him I am even angrier as I had to chase him around the house. help anyone?

Well Christmas eve we packed up the car and headed to my sisters to stay over night, we woke the next day and stayed for christmas breakfast, and exchanged gifts then off we zipped to my wifes family lunch. Thankfully all her family congregrates at the same time and house each year rather small family I might add we ate lunch exchanged gifts then off to my other sisters for dinner! where most of my family were at, gave gifts and left. very short summary of our day but as you can guess very busy and very very tiaring as my first sister lives a ways out of Bunbury and my wifes family and the rest of my family live in bunbury where we are situated, but with 6 children on christmas eve and christmas day till 11am my first sister just could not gather them all up in the car on such a hot day!. We are getting better at finding gifts for picky children that don't cost a lot too! I have found that 1 gift is enough if it's the right gift we had less $$ this year so we laybyed when the toy sales were on in the department stores I do like putting thought in to my pressies so hate shopping last minute. Baby boy had a blast and was sooo worn out that he was naughty much of the day choosing to cuddle me or chuck his food on the floor or just be grizzly! As we slept at my sisters he would not go to sleep, but by 3am he couldn't keep his eye's open, so I can understand his being tiard but with carful planning of naps he is safely asleep now till morning hopefully. I hope evryone had a wonderful day we really did although bub was uncooperative, the day hot, and the travelling long.

The other day my wife and I had to take our one year old son in to get his MMR vaccine along with his miningachocol and hep B vaccine, but due to our concerns about MMR being linked with autism and bowel disease we asked our family doctor if there was any back up vaccines for parents with these concerns and response was that it was only one group of people who had these concerns with the vaccine so because the doctor couldn't tell us much more about it we declined the MMR vaccine so we could do more research into it ourselves what we found gave us even more concerns about this MMR vaccine. We found out that Dr Wakefield had 170 cases of autism and bowel disease in children who have had the three in one vaccine and that the parents had documentry evidence of there childrens physical and mental decline had followed there 3 in 1 immunisation. Then I looked into it a bit more and there was a taylor study that was hailed to be proof that the MMR vaccine does not cause autism actually had found evidence suggesting a connection. So we are considering trying to get a back up solution for parents with the simialar concerns which Australia does not have in place. Please remember in all this we are not the victims in all this our children are.

I recently caught him playing with junk that basically cots nothing and he has lots of toys! I really do think she is getting a little carried away but I don't think I can be honest as I tried talking to her before bout expensive toys and how he just like our time and attention at this age but I was accused of being cheap! I will be happy when the whole thing is over. I really do hope he gets some use out of this toy. Well if you have any suggestions, comments or support for me I will be happy to read them

I hate seeing him grumpy and taking hijm anywhere in public means he is stared at one visitor whom has no children thought he was bitten by misquitos! by gosh my house is not that bad is it? lol but yes he looks a sight I will still have him immunised when the time comes as rarely children can catch them twice, although by the looks of him he is getting a good dose of it now that getting it a second time seems unlikely.

Well I have had a big week this week which is why I have not been on and as active as usual on the 6th and 7th of this month I had to go up o our capital city (Perth) and have my teeth pulled oh yeah it hurt!! all my top ones have gone and any wisdom that were starting to grow. I mean the teeth not my actual wisdom, bub and partner came to see me after the big op and the first thing bub tries to grab is the pink bung in my arm I was lucky to grab him before he could actually touch it being restrained he went into tantrum mode flailing about wanting to see what the pink thing on me was anyways in the midst of flailing he of course knocks me in the mouth sending shooting pain across the whole area. My last post saying baby cares is still true he stopped his flailing when I gave a yelp and eventually I got a great cuddle that made me feel heaps better. Funnily enough I have spotted a tooth coming thru in bubs mouth on the day I had mine taken out so much for him sharing his food with his poor old dad. I just have to say tho that I am soo happy that this trip to perth was for me and not for bub as usually it is him who needs me at the hospital his last appt was last month at Pmh the exact date the 7th and we got verrrrry good news that his kidney reflux has improved in both and that the other kidney is doing fine (he had an op on his left kidney in Dec 2005 at 2months of age the left kidney is still partly there) he has been off of his antibiotics since then and our next appt is in Feb 2007 :). I do have to say as well I am very peeeeved at the govt as I live in a city and we get rural / country healthcare bub had to borne in perth he also has his scans in perth and as you can see dental is in perth it is the largest state but there is only one place all residents in the state can go for good quality healthcare drs and facilities Not happy
