Apparently Primus has had major cable damage to one of their main cables in my area and I have had NO phone line since last Thursday the 4th of December. So no phone and no internet....

NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

And to make things worse they say it won't be fixed until the 18th of December.....what a load of..........!!!!!!!!!

So Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope to be back soon...I do have limited access....when I can pry OB off of her computer...hehehe

I answered all the questions - 2 essays and a Source Analysis - 11 pages of hand writing in all.

Now just have to wait for the results. Some time before Christmas apparently.

There were only 2 of us that sat the exam and I didn't know the other guy as he did Open Access instead of coming to class.

If he wasn't there it would have just been me!

There should have been one more but she didn't turn up. She had Modern History yestersday and apparently didn't cope too well with it....hope she is okay.

Reminder to self: "Never do a course that has an exam at the end"

The only seat available on the train was directly adjacent to a well dressed middle aged French woman and the seat was being used by her dog.

The weary traveler asked, "Ma'am, please move your dog. I need that seat."  

The French woman looked down her nose at the American, sniffed and said, You Americans. Your are such a rude class of people. Can't you see my little FiFi is using that seat?"  

The American walked away, determined to find a place to rest, but after another trip down to the end of the train, found himself again facing the woman with the dog.   Again he asked, "Please, lady. May I sit there?". I'm very tired."  

The French woman wrinkled her nose and snorted "You Americans! Not only are you rude, you are also arrogant....Imagine!"

  The American didn't say anything else, he leaned over, picked up the dog, tossed it out the window of the train and sat down in the empty seat.   The woman shrieked and railed, and demanded that someone defend her honor and chastise the American.  

An English man sitting across the aisle spoke up indignantly, "You know, sir, you Americans do seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing.  

You eat holding the fork in the wrong hand.  

You drive your autos on the wrong side of the road.  

And now, Sir, you've thrown the wrong bitch out the window."

Engineers Mike and Seamus (Dublin mechanical engineers)

were standing at the base of a flagpole, looking up at the top.

A woman walked by and asked what they were doing.

The woman took a wrench from her purse, loosened a few bolts,

and laid the pole down.

Then she took a tape measure from her pocket, took a measurement,

announced, "5 metres," and walked away.

Seamus shook his head and laughed.  "That is just like a blonde!

We ask for the height and she gives us the length!"

A couple is going out for a night on the town. They're all dolled up, ready to go; the lights left on, the dog put out.

But just as the taxi arrives and they step out of the house, the dog darts back inside and won't come out. They don't want to leave the dog inside, so the husband goes upstairs to find it, while the wife goes to wait in the taxi.

Not wanting it known that the house will be empty, she explains to the driver that her husband had just gone 'to say good-bye to my mother'.

A few minutes later, the husband gets into the cab. 'Sorry I took so long,' he says. 'Stupid bitch was hiding under the bed and I had to poke her with a coat-hanger to get her to come out! Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching and biting me as I hauled her ass downstairs and tossed her in the backyard! She'd better not sh * t in the vegetable garden again!

The silence in the cab was deafening.

 For several years, a man was having an affair with an Italian woman.

One night, she confided in him that she was pregnant.
Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he paid her a large sum of money so she would go to Italy to secretly have the child.

Got no school today so have most of the day to myself...yay.

Mum and Dad are buying me a new reverce cycle air conditioner as a birthday/Christmas present but -I have to do the running around to find the best price...etc.

Have looked at one so far! Most ones these days are split systems but I want one that goes in the wall as I have one of those already and if I were to change to the other I would have to also brick up the hole.

Actually she is a step-aunt as Dad is my step father but Dad to us.

She had cancer that began as cervical and was meant to have cemo earlier this month but it spread too quick and ended up all through her body.

Not quite sure of her age but late 40's early 50's I think as she is the youngest. We weren't in close contact with them all that much but still sad all the same.

What next........................

It was a 3hr exam on Year 12 Australian History.

I finished it all with 40 minutes to spare so had time to read thru and fix any mistakes.

But boy did I have writer's cramp during and after it!

Don't think that I have ever written anything for that long in one go.

I am so glad that it is over. i can relax a bit more now.

Will find out how I went on Monday.

Thanks to all that have sent me Mothers Day emails.

Of course Jack wanted to play. So there was Jack and 3 blokes in their thirties....guess who won!

In fact not only did jack win...he won by more than 50 points to the second player!!!

The guys were not happy! Guess they shouldn't have drunk so much before taking a 7 year old on...hehe
