We had a roast at mums on the weekend to say happy birthday to him and to say goodbye to my other brother as he is changing jobs again and going up to Port Hedland. We will probably see him every couple of months still maybe. Anyway here are my 2 brothers. I took my camera! Amazing for me.

His whole car is full of speakers. Hope he doesn't go deaf. The boys came to mums on there own. Here are my 2 little men now! Today I am staying home and taking Nik to TAFE for his enrolment. He got a haircut while he was away at his dads, actually there is no hair under the beanie, he is bald now. LOL. Oh well a bit tidier then Kiza who is trying to get dreadlocks. His hair is always full of cement, oh and the clothes, washing machine, carpet, boots, laundry. The joys of a bricklayer in the house. LOL

Been a while since the last blog. We went and watched Iron Man that weekend which was a good movie. Since then been working a lot of hours. Nik went to his dads about 2 weeks ago and is staying there for a change I guess as his course doesn't start til a few weeks. His enrolment day is Monday or Tuesday. Probably get there Tuesday. Having a change at work. Dropping a couple days with one family and picking up another family so just trying to sort all that now and hopefully get settled there quickly. Taking a lot out of me to organise it all. Feel a bit like a juggler at the moment.

Kiza has gone into his second year of his apprentiship which he is happy about as he just got a pay rise. His boss wasn't too happy though so he could be moving jobs soon as he says he can't afford it anymore. Because he is on his P plates too they sent him some new plates in the post. From June 30 they are changing the plates. They look pretty cool too. They are red with a white P and then in September he has to have a green plate with a white P. I didn't even know they were doing that.

Also I was going to go and visit Liz in the hospital but she text to say that she would be out tomorrow and all went better then expected so that is cool. She may only be on crutches so take it easy Liz and don't go overdoing. I hope she recovers fast!

Everything else is same old which is good. Very quiet for me on the home front as far as kids go as I hardly see them. We have been going out at night time or staying in to watch a movie. We had a bar-b-q with friends last weekend. Mark came for the night. Have been living between 2 houses.

Nik and I went to dinner at James mums house on Thursday night. James stayed over 3 nights in a row. Wow! That was nice because it has been a cold week. Everyone at work has been sick but I haven't caught it yet. Yay! and touch wood!

I haven't taken photos like forever but the other week we went to James boys footy. They played a great game too, both of them and I got the boys to sit down to have a photo though Mark is starting to not like his picture taken and ran off. He's like me, Nik will pose all day, have thousands of him. So wanted to stick up the photo since I take hardly any. This is the best I could get. Will have to start sneaking around!

Mark is here this weekend. We are going to go to the movies today. Yesterday we just did the food shopping and went to the video store and picked 3 new releases. Need to get out and do something today.

Kiza was home last night and is apparently coming home tonight too. He will have to get dinner, so will probably be pizza tonight! My weekend with the family was great. We had a good day. Nik stayed home instead of going to his dads, so he came too. It was good weather on Sunday too. Anyway must go but hope that everyone has a lovely day! Thanks to everyone that has replied to my other blogs. I don't always reply in here. Just to let you know that I do make an effort to get and visit your blog though or reply in your lounge!

Well I am still around occasionally as I am working most of the times and so when I am home I have to dedicate that time to cooking cleaning and spending time with Nik since he is the only one here at the moment. His course doesn't start til July so I can see he is getting a little bored being on his own so much. He is going to basketball today. Yesterday this guy came over to help him enrol. He will be doing a bit of travelling too as the TAFE down the road doesn't do the course he wants.

Looks like Kiza has moved out the amount I have seen him. Last night when I got home from work his rent was on the table and he was nowhere to be seen. I think he was home one night last week and he didn't come home last night either. Huh?

Thursday night I went to a comedy festival with James. So funny some of the acts. Its good to have a bit of a laugh. We were sitting with a good group of people too. This weekend I am working too. Today doing some hours and Monday and tonight I am babysitting for the night. My kids are off at there dads. Sunday I am going to go see mum and dad though as my brothers will be going too. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I have just had my first meal in it tonight, casserole. It doesn't take too long to cut up the vegies and meat in the morning and came home to a yummy dinner. Kiza got home before me, as I left work early to go to an appointment at the doctor and he rang up to say how nice it smelt walking in. I bought Nik with me to the doctor. I arrived home at 2pm and because he was home he was taxing the meat! So it was a hit!

The doctors was the post op check just to get my results. I have a A4 sheet of big words all basically saying that it was 3 cysts, all the diameters and what it composed of but it basically says it is benign which is what they thought anyway and if not I am sure they would have rang before so a bit of a waste of time but got half a day off work. Nik started to get impatient in the waiting room for goodness sake, folding stuff and fiddling around. He actually started to read some of this book in there! Didn't last though.

Then we came home and he wanted me to help him with his resume. Why does help mean, shoot what you say down in flames? Anyway, he got it done, his way and we went to the video shop as he wanted to give it to them. Last week we were there and we overheard the guy say he was there on his own and the guy that was supposed to be there to start training didn't show, so I told Nik I heard them say that and he asked them for an application. They asked him to bring in a resume. It has been a long time since I have done one of them. Anyway he is trying to find something for now as his course doesn't start til July. Nik will be turning 16 soon too so that means he will get the youth allowance and I will no longer get the family assistance I think they said as centrelink just rang me the other day to give me the heads up. I already knew that anyway and I am working full time now and just got a pay rise the other day so hope to still have work after my contract runs out in June. Can't worry about what ifs just yet. Best to concentrate on the now and go with the flow. All enjoy your week! Lynette xx

Generally one night a week my man comes over on a Wednesday to stay over but this week we thought why not go out for one drink after work then I will stay at his place. My kids are both big enough to look after themselves for one night. So I get home, start tea, pack my bags, then after tea say, OK going out, don't wait up, may stay out. My 17 year old says " Where are you going?" "What time you coming back?" I say, I don't know, you have your own car to go to work. You guys don't need me here. He says " I could want so me and mummy time!" The grin is huge. He basically became my dad for a second! LOL Very funny. He could have had his mummy time tonight but no, it is late night shopping for him. Me I am going to bed. One late night is enough for this mum!

I bought all the ingredients yesterday, bacon, eggs and english muffins and yoghurt. Kiza said we are just going down the shop, we want orange juice. Him and Mark came back with a big bunch of flowers and a box of choccies too. AWW! I really was not expecting anything. He is very naughty to spend his money on me but so cool. Lucky I cleaned up the breakfast bench last night and the flowers look beautiful up there!

My boys now just cooking me breaky!

Sunday night was a family dinner to say goodbye to a member going to England for a few weeks and that was fun. Saturday night was the more intimate pub dinner. Can you call that intimate? LOL Yes of course, no kids night for us. It was a family night at the pub though. Heaps of kids running around getting there faces painted and a clown making balloons. She even made me a rose balloon. How cool.

Just been working all week. Today my son took his car over the pits and got the yellow sticker taken off. He only had minor stuff to do so he said it breezed over. They didn't even take it for a drive just looked under it, checked everything had been done, then peeled it off so he was so happy. He rang me up straight away.

Nik wants to quit his course and go to TAFE so we are looking into that. He is looking at a computer course.

So now the games go for nearly 2 hours since he is in 17s. Gosh it is like the AFL but of course the AFL players make the game look easy in comparison. LOL Oh and they were beaten. Oh well!

Had a nice day today. First day back with the twins and had been saving up some goodies in a bag plus the dollys clothes that I made they liked and dressed there dollies up too. They had a sale on the craft section at red dot. Everything half price and they are already cheap so got lots of goodies and so we were busy all day.

Kiza has gone out with his mates now after the game and so it is Nik and me tonight. He is picking him up tomorrow to go to their dads. Scary that he is out on the town now. Now he has his own money and car all I can do is lecture and hope he does the right thing. He drove off with 3 of his mates and they are staying over one of their houses. He pays me his board though, every week plus 20 which he normally needs to lend by the end of the week. So he still needs to learn how to stretch it.

Feels a bit surreal really after the couple of weeks off. I am not used to getting up early and just got home but need to go to this course for work soon. 7pm to 9pm. Really tempted to pull a sickie but better not. Did alright today. Would have rather had another week but can't afford to really and my family is finding the going hard without me. At least I am wanted I guess, and they made me heaps of lovely cards and pressies while I was away.

Yesterday took Nik to the dentist. This is his last appointment unless there is an emergency before he turns 16, otherwise now I take them to the private dentist. His teeth were fine but she did stress he must spend longer in the bathroom. He should spend more often too. All of them. I am amazed that they never get any fillings or anything. If he doesn't brush the gums though he will end up with gum disease. Must book Kiza in now.

Anyway the end of the holiday went well. We just watched movies and the boys played x-box and also my brother bought over a bar-b-q that one of my auntys did not use. It is practically brand new and we had a bar-b-q straight away and used up all the gas. So that was a great score. Must go now to get to this course. When am I going to find time again to come on? Will keep popping my head in when I can!

Yesterday I went and picked the boys up from the city. Then we came home for lunch. I forgot how much they clean out my cupboard and fridge. LOL I had just been shopping and will be going for groceries again today, and buying bulk!

It was Mark's birthday when he was at his dad's last week. My baby is 13 now. All teenagers now. ARRGGH! We went to the sports shops and the games shop. All the places they like to hang and Mark settled on 2 x-box games and a controller which were on special for $50 the lot so that was his present. Today I am taking them to the movies too. They want to see super-pro which is some comedy basketball movie so they are getting showered now and Mark is cooking bacon and eggs. Yuk.

Kiza took his car over the pits on the weekend. He got an extra 26 days on the yellow sticker on his car to do his tyre rod ends and to fix his horn which isn't working, so they did him a favour really as he will have it really safe. Last night while cooking dinner he rings from work cause he locked his keys in the car. I had to drive to his work to give him the spare set. It was half an hour away and I was right in the middle of cooking. How annoying! Anyway, these things are made to try us. The kids are almost ready now. Hope everyone has a great day!

Reminds me of having little kids around too. They always make our life so interesting, fun and oh so messy. LOL

Yesterday I walked over to the library. Good to live so close but still managed to get a fine for my overdue book. LOL I got out Stephen King's book on writing. It is the story of his life and like he says he cuts all the bull#$@! out about how to be a good writer as noone really knows where they get their stories from but his life story is interesting. Got a couple of DVDs out too.

Last couple of days, hardly any pain. Won't be running any marathons any time soon but so happy that I am feeling a lot better now and tomorrow my kids are coming back from there dads, Mark will be here for the week and Nik permanently of course. I am going to go and watch a DVD on Istanbul. I am going to get all of the Lonely Planet 6ix Degrees out over the week. I haven't done any travelling overseas in my life and about time I brushed up on some geography. There are heaps of cities in the series including my own home city of Perth. Hopefully I like them. I liked the other DVD on Australian story. Great series and there are some inspiring people out there. Sick of sitting watching the news and hearing about the bad people or bad things. We need to see more good. No wonder everyone is getting depressed.

I should have switched my mobile off today. LOL No he is going to pick me up and take me home tomorrow. I should be able to drive now anyhow. I am coming good. It is no longer painful to get around and can do the light duties like the dishes and the cooking. I am looking forward to the next week. The other 2 kids are coming on Sunday for the whole week and then the next weekend. Now just have to think of some good holiday activities. Might even do some fishing one night. They like that.

Anyway have a good week to everyone and I highly recommend you all get some pamper time this week. Look after yourselves!

Went to my mums on Friday and just got back. I am so glad that I went. I have the most awesome parents. Dad has been so sick but when I rang up distressed from a pain in my leg they offered to come and get me and look after me til today. I don't know if I overdid it or what but I was not emotionally coping here on my own. My boys have gone to there dads for the week. Except Kiza as he is working.Anyway feeling a lot better. Can walk a little more now. And while I was there I knitted some dolls clothes for the twins and some barbie doll outfits for the other girls that I mind. Plus I have been doing all my puzzles. Plus mum has the animals there to cuddle and scratch so very relaxing.

I will be going to James tonight and tomorrow night. Then my kids will be back. Don't get me wrong I usually cope just fine on my own. I think I thought something was going horribly wrong. I had a pain in my leg and thought the worst which was DVT. I have heard stories of people dropping dead with it and I guess fear took over. Then top that with trying to get a doctors appointment and I did get into the doctor eventually on Friday and he doesn't have any equipment to do testing and believe me you don't want to go to the hospital unless you are in dire need. Anyway felt foolish but never felt like this before and fear is a horrible thing. It was scary going to sleep. He said don't think it is anything if the pain gets worse go to the hospital as they can do tests. The pain hasn't got worse but it is still there but only bothers me at night when I lie down just so I can stress myself to sleep. Its not really pain. I think maybe it is a nerve they could have hit or a muscle pull. Anyway I will live and won't be long because I am healing quite good. I haven't had panadol for a couple days now and the tummy much better.

Enjoying all these beautiful days though. The weather has been perfect!

I know not much time has lapsed but there was so much discussion yesterday and I missed it all cause I can't sit for long plus I went to the shops to get a couple things. I know, naughty cause I'm supposed to be resting but how to sit still? And it is 2.30am. All this resting during the day and how am I supposed to sleep now. Will force myself back to bed soon.

My son took me to the shops by the way. I was not so silly as to drive but Just walking to coles and back out was probably too far. I had to hold myself up at the check out. Anyway it was because I had no cash and was not going to hand my card and pin number over to the kids. Sounds untrusting, but hey, don't want to give them too much.

Kiza has 10 days to get the yellow sticker off his car. I know he has an old car but he has spent money on it. He's got brand new tyres and new muffler straight away plus we made sure it was safe before he even could drive it. He even had a new clutch put in. My mechanic friend looked at it and he said there was no oil leak. This is what he put the sticker on for and he didn't even open the hood just saw a slick under the car apparently. So although my friend said he will get it over easily, we have to change the boot lock as that doesn't open. Then it is $87 to get it over anyway. Very annoying but very true that he will learn the hard way. Hope they don't find anything else but my mechanic friend is going to take it over for him so they don't see the P plates. I cross my fingers he at least gets to keep his car on the road but he will have to work out all this money himself.

The girls I work for rang me up yesterday too. So sweet. Uplifted my day after bad news. They had wrote me a little card and they couldn't hold out any longer to see how my operation had gone. She read it out on the phone that she loves me very much cause I am the best carer ever! AWWW! They are missing me! Can't go back too early though. Hope everyone has a great day. No doubt I will be back and forward from minti throughout my recovery. HELP Don't let me become addicted!

Didn't get my magazines so am actually going crazy here. The new site has got me a bit confused really. I will get it though. I have to ask my kids to do everything for me. This is the first day on my own but at least I can make myself a cuppa and such just everything is so slow to do. I used to do everything at 100 miles an hour. Will be glad when it is not so painful. Don't know why I thought I would be enjoying this more. LOL Think I better go lie down again. Will try back tomorrow and see how I go. Thanks for all those that gave me a lovely compliment or thought of me. Everything went so well. Didn't feel a thing, till after of course. Has slowed me right down though but hope to be back to normal in a week or so.

I'm not allowed to do anything and my body wouldn't let me anyway. Laparoscopy went well yesterday. I had 3 cysts in there. They showed me photos after. Pretty awesome seeing inside my own body. The ovary was bigger then my uterus when they pulled it out. The good one was so small compared to the one with the cysts. They got them all out and the doctor is confident that all is good with them. The ovary can grow more but fingers crossed. No wonder I started to feel them in the last few months. It wasn't unbareable pain though. Instead of 2 small incisions I ended up with 4 as 2 doctors were working on me. The pain that was in my shoulders was pretty bad last night as that is apparently from the gas that is pumped into my stomach during the operation. I went in at 1.30pm and was awake by 5pm and home by 8pm. The doctors and nurses at King Edward are amazing. This is my first ever operation but apart from feeling a little nervous I felt like I was in great hands. Don't know how long I can sit up now. Have to rest all day. Couldn't even make my own brekky or cuppa this morning. Feel like an invalid. LOL My son says I look like one too. LOL Gotta love em! They try to make me laugh though, little brats.
